Speed Skating

For the upcomming release, the following changes are planned.

• Change the length of the track (only a track 400 meters is supported now).
• Adding support for planning a race.
• Compare the split times to the plan.
• Support for showing the differences between the split times and the plan.

In this version the following changes were made.

• Possibility added to compare the split times of a race with the personal record, seasonal record or track record of the rider.
• The results screen now shows an indication whether a race has delivered a personal record, a seasonal record or a track record.
• The event report now includes the indications for personal record, seasonal record or track record.

• Possibilty added to add a not for a skater on a specific race.
• Possibility added to view the notes on a distance for a specific skater.
• Laptime sign added. So you can show the laptime to your skater.
• Swipe gestures added to change quickly between the laptimes of the two skaters in a race.
• A pinch gesture is added to the laptime screen to return to the heat details screen.

In this version the following changes were made.

• Season 2014-2015 is added. The current season can be changed using the settings view.
• Support for split time registration is added in this version. While entering the split time of a lap, the lap time and the difference with the personal record are automatically calculated. If a skater is faster than his current personal record the difference is shown in green.
• Functionality is added for registration of other distances. For example: you can add a new distance of 200 meters. So you can enter events that have this distance in it.
• Support is added to the skater details screen to compare a maximum of fore results on a distance. If the distance is 1000 meters or more a chart is shown with the lap times.
• The personal chart is moved to a new part of the screen. You can view the personal chart with a click on the chart icon in the skater details view.
• The help functionality is extended and moved to the main navigation bar. Attention: a network connection is required to view the help.

In this version the following changes were made.

The way to enter the end times has been changed. The spin controls were replaced by text fields with a time keyboard.

Configuration functionality added, so you can set the minumal an maximal values of te time axes in the charts.

A couple of bugs have been resolved.

In this version the following changes were made.

The way the color is presented to the user was changed. The color is now only presented as background of the heat instead of the complete row.

Functionality added so the user can indicate that a skater has been disqualified during a race.

A couple of bugs have been resolved that occured when switching from one season to an other.

A Light and a free version of the app have been added to the appstore. The light version of the app can be used so you can view the results on your iPhone or iPod touch. The free version of the app can be used t try the app before you by it.

In this version the following changes were made.

While adding a new skater in the app, the default birthdate was filled with the current date. In some cases this resulted in a strange working behavour of the app. This was fixed by using 1/1/2000 as the default birthdate.

Support for the English language added.

This is the initial release of the app.

Using this version of the app, it is possible to use the basic functionality. All races in a season can be recorded. After capturing the results for a distance, the resultst of a skater during a season can be viewed. You also have the ability to display a graph and thus to compare the performance off different skaters.
